When you talk to a woman, your goal is not to say something brilliant, or even interesting. Your goal is simply to say something. You don't have to impress her with your verbal dexterity, just show that you're willing to talk. I see far too many men get this backward. They try too hard, and as a result, they don't even get the chance to try anything else.
